Sherry Lipp - Chief Operating Officer
Sherry brings over 25 years of legal, project, business, systems, human resources and financial management experience to the team. With expertise in business development, start-ups, and customer service, she has guided both public and private sector organizations like TBC Teletheatre, BCIT, the BC Academic Health Council, and a number of consulting firms through rapid growth and start-ups. Sherry has founded, owned and operated a paralegal and corporate compliance consulting firm based in Vancouver, BC. She holds certification in systems management and has an applied Bachelor of Technology in management, accompanied by coaches training through the Coaches Training Institute of California.
Neil Schmidt - Head Golf Professional
Neil is a Kelowna local who brings an unparalleled passion for golf and extensive knowledge of the city to the Club. Neil has been playing golf since he was 10 years old and has over 17 years experience in all aspects of the Okanagan's golf business. Neil earned a golf scholarship to California and became a carded Canadian PGA Professional in 1991. He is the recipient of the BCPGA Assistant Professional Award in 1996 and has worked at some of BC's most exceptional clubs including the Kelowna Golf & Country Club, the Harvest Golf Club, Osoyoos Golf and Country Club and Predator Ridge Golf Resort.
Brian Reilly - Food Services Director
Brian joins The Club at Tower Ranch with strong leadership skill and international management experience. He has opened more than eighteen restaurants and bars in Canada and the U.S. Brian brings a flair for hospitality together with formal education in marketing and hotel/restaurant management. During the past 5 years he has guided several golf courses with their seasonal openings and improving their customer service and creating operational efficiencies. His previous 8 years were spent as an entrepreneur, launching and operating five locations of a Canadian Sports Bar that was voted best in Canada. Brian’s vision, ambition, experience, energy and creativity will further strengthen our mighty and talented team.
Trevor Chaisson - Course Superintendent
Originally from Cape Breton Island, NS, Trevor has 13 years of experience managing construction and maintenance crews to build over 20 high-end golf courses across Canada. La Tempête (PQ), The Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu (PQ), Stewart Creek (AB), Osprey Valley (ON), and Bell Bay (NS) are some of his most recent projects. He has been an integral part of the successes of Aberdeen Golf Construction Inc, the builders of the Tower Ranch Golf Course. In addition to a Bachelor of Arts degree, Trevor holds a diploma in turf grass management from Pennsylvania State University.
Charli Erker - Marketing and Administrative Coordinator
Charli comes to us with a great deal of experience and a strong background in marketing, resort property sales, event planning, business management and administration. She worked with Silver Star Mountain for more than 13 years in marketing and major event planning, followed recently by 7 years with Predator Ridge in various roles, including tee time reservations, customer service and sales. This experience is augmented by 8 additional years partnering in the operation of an Okangan tour adventure business.
